Trip Schedule 2022-23
About our trips
Our outings are fun and casual, and meant for learning all about birds.
We strive to make our outings both for beginners and experts. If you have never been on a bird outing or are new to birding our club is a wonderful way to learn from other birders.
All field trips are free* and open to the community. Trips generally last two to three hours unless otherwise noted. If weather is questionable on a trip day, please email or call the trip leader.
We believe birding is for everyone. We welcome all who enjoy and care about birds, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, mobility difficulty, or birding experience.
*On occasion there are costs associated with trips, such as whale tours, ferry fees, and entrance fees to properties. If a cost is expected of a participant it will be noted on the home page and trip schedule above. The bird club does try to cover the cost of property entrance fees when possible. The bird club does have scholarships available for trips. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
FIELD TRIP GUIDELINES
Pre-registration by email or phone is required for all participants.
Stay home if you are feeling unwell. Full list of COVID-19 symptoms provided by the CDC click here.
We encourage practicing social distancing whenever possible.
The Club is currently not suppling carpooling, and discourages carpooling for non-family members on our trips. If a trip involves using a car to get around, each participant/family group must have their own vehicle.
The Nasketucket Bird Club adheres to the American Birding Association's Code of Birding Ethics.

The club is active in the community, often making presentations and outings for school groups and other community organizations. If you are interested in a bird outing or a presentation lead by our club please contact Justin Barrett at email@example.com.
