Bird Trips 2023-24

Pre-registration is required for all trips. To register please email Justin Barrett at nbcbirdclub@gmail.com unless otherwise noted above.

About our trips

Our outings are fun and casual, and meant for learning all about birds.

We strive to make our outings both for beginners and experts. If you have never been on a bird outing or are new to birding our club is a wonderful way to learn from other birders.

All field trips are free* and open to the community. Trips generally last two to three hours unless otherwise noted. If weather is questionable on a trip day, please email or call the trip leader.

We believe birding is for everyone. We welcome all who enjoy and care about birds, regardless of age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, mobility difficulty, or birding experience.

*On occasion there are costs associated with trips, such as whale tours, ferry fees, and entrance fees to properties. If a cost is expected of a participant it will be noted on the home page and trip schedule above. The bird club does try to cover the cost of property entrance fees when possible. The bird club does have scholarships available for trips. Please email nbcbirdclub@gmail.com for more information.
